Steve Morgan

Steve Morgan started his bass career at the age of 13 in the jazz band at Dakota Middle School in Rapid City, SD. He was part of many in-school and extracurricular groups throughout his teenage years. Because of his dedication and work, he landed a music scholarship from South Dakota State University.

He graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Merchandising. Since college, he has been part of several music projects, one of which is Wholetones – The Healing Music Project which made an appearance on the Billboard charts and has been sold on the QVC shopping channel.

His passion for the instrument has lead him to many wonderful opportunities over the years, including traveling, recording and doing educational seminars at camps, schools and conferences. Most notably, he was interviewed by the Mel Bay Publishing bass website a few years ago. Steve is currently the music director for the Day One Band, a local church’s contemporary worship team. Most recently, he has filmed the first complete semester of an online bass course for The Music 360 Method and is slated to produce the second semester this fall.

He lives in Forney, TX with his wife, three kids and three dogs.
